What you will do

• Design and maintain gPTP protocol stacks for automotive Ethernet switches.
• Develop and execute POC demonstrations to validate TSN technology feasibility for OEMs and Tier-1 customers.
• Provide pre/post-sales technical support, including driver porting and middleware integration.
• Write safety-critical embedded C code compliant with MISRA C:2012 standards.
• Ensure all development follows ASPICE Level 2 process requirements.
• Debug embedded Linux/RTOS drivers in collaboration with the R&D team.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Shanghai or Shenzhen, China.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience in the automotive industry.
• Hands-on experience with IEEE 802.1AS (gPTP) or IEEE 1588 (PTP) protocols.
• Proven experience with ASPICE-compliant development processes.
• Strong proficiency in MISRA C:2012 compliant embedded C programming.
• Deep understanding of ARM Cortex-R/M architectures and RTOS (FreeRTOS, AUTOSAR).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TSN protocols (802.1Qav, 802.1CB, 802.1Qat).
• Experience with AVTP (IEEE 1722) and Ethernet Layer 2 switch architectures.
• Familiarity with static analysis tools like PC-Lint, Polyspace, or Coverity.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
