What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of predictive modelling projects from scoping and design to implementation and monitoring.
• Ensure all models meet rigorous standards for governance, regulatory compliance, and technical excellence.
• Act as a proactive owner of deployed models, providing continuous insights and performance improvements.
• Drive technical management contributions to maintain gold-standard data science capabilities.
• Foster a supportive and high-performing team culture through effective people leadership and coaching.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align data science roadmaps with broader business objectives.

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification in a highly analytical field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams of data scientists or quantitative specialists.
• Strong background in end-to-end data science delivery, from problem definition to production implementation.
• Hands-on experience as a data scientist with the ability to dive deep into technical details.
• Practical experience with modern data science tools, open-source technologies, and version control.
• Demonstrated track record of shaping roadmaps and building strong cross-functional partnerships.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic AI tools and practices like Claude Code or Codex.
• Knowledge of advanced techniques such as deep learning or numerical optimization.
• Experience coordinating complex cross-functional delivery with MLOps teams.
• Track record of championing data science in emerging or unsupported business areas.
