What you will do

• Define and execute the AI strategy and roadmap for Trade Surveillance.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate vision into scalable AI-enabled capabilities.
• Lead and scale a multidisciplinary team of AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Researchers.
• Establish robust, production-grade AI practices including deployment, monitoring, and governance.
• Drive AI integration into core surveillance workflows to detect and investigate market abuse.
• Act as a senior AI leader, influencing stakeholders and representing capabilities to external audiences.

Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
• Proven track record of delivering AI strategies at scale in complex, enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of governance, compliance, and model risk frameworks in regulated sectors.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience operating across both strategic and hands-on domains.
• Must be based in London and able to work in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial markets, trading, or trade surveillance.
• Familiarity with product development lifecycles and SaaS-based platforms.
• Exposure to enterprise AI governance and regulatory functions.
