AVP - Data Science (NTS)

What you will do

• Define and execute the AI strategy and roadmap for trade surveillance in alignment with product and business priorities.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to deliver scalable AI capabilities for detection, investigation, and automation.
• Influence stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Sales while representing AI capabilities to clients and external audiences.
• Lead and scale a multidisciplinary team across AI Engineering, Data Science, and Research.
• Establish production-grade practices for model deployment, monitoring, explainability, and governance.
• Integrate AI into surveillance workflows to improve the detection and investigation of market abuse.

Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics, including building and scaling high-performing teams.
• Proven experience defining and delivering AI strategies and solutions at enterprise scale.
• Strong executive communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, including clients and external stakeholders.
• Experience combining strategic leadership with hands-on contribution to production-grade solutions.
• Deep understanding of governance, compliance, and regulated environments, including AI governance or model risk frameworks.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering measurable outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial markets, trading, or trade surveillance.
• Familiarity with product development lifecycles and SaaS technology platforms.
• Exposure to enterprise AI governance, risk, or regulatory functions.
