What you will do

• Architect and design robust AI/ML systems for production, focusing on distributed backend systems and microservices.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, coordinating between Data, Infrastructure, and ML Engineering teams.
• Optimize workflows for model training, real-time inference, monitoring, and troubleshooting in collaboration with AI/ML engineers.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on ML infrastructure, enforcing SLAs for latency, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Develop tools for model management and continuous monitoring to improve the overall ML lifecycle.
• Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Experience with architectural frameworks of large-scale, distributed ML applications.
• Proficiency in Python, with additional experience in Java or Go.
• Strong expertise in deploying scalable ML models using Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Solid understanding of MLOps, data structures, and software design principles.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing applications using LLMs and GenAI.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and big data frameworks like Spark.
