What you will do
- Develop functional and physical aircraft system architecture aligned with system safety and aviation standards (e.g., ARP 4754A, ARP 4761, STANAG 4671).
- Select and manage applicable safety requirements from aircraft level to system and component level.
- Define the safety process and continuously perform safety assessments (FHA, FTA) during development.
- Select, evaluate, and integrate system architecture components; define verification and validation strategies.
- Support process planning, execution, and certification liaison, including system-level integration, ground testing, and flight testing support.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in aerospace engineering (or a closely related field).
- At least 5 years of professional experience with redundant aerospace system architectures and hands-on systems engineering and safety assessment.
- Solid understanding of avionics, digital communication, and electrical systems.
- Experience conducting functional hazard assessments and fault tree analyses.
- Hands-on experience with safety assessment and requirements management tools.
- Familiarity with aviation regulatory frameworks (e.g., ARP 4754A, ARP 4761, CS-23, DO-178C); military certification experience (e.g., STANAG 4671) is helpful.
- English communication is required.
