What you will do

• Support the preparation and elaboration of the Project Identification Form (PIF) for the “Cidades Verdes que Alimentam” project.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance for project formulation to ensure compliance with GEF and hirify.global policies.
• Coordinate closely with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MMA) and the Ministry of Social Development (MDS).
• Engage with pilot cities and regional hirify.global offices to align project goals with local needs.
• Ensure the project design addresses biodiversity, climate change, and social inclusion objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, urban planning, geography, environmental engineering, biology, agronomy, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in the design, formulation, or management of environmental technical cooperation projects in Brazil.
• Proven ability to work in partnership with public institutions, municipalities, and international organizations.
• Language proficiency: Fluency in Portuguese and professional working proficiency in English.
• Work authorization: Must be able to meet all residency and security clearance requirements for Brazil.
