What you will do

• Maintain the integrity and performance of database platforms across all environments.
• Manage high-availability and disaster recovery systems, including failover and failback procedures.
• Provide administration and support for security, SQL Agent jobs, and SSIS packages.
• Contribute to the SQL database roadmap and strategy for cloud technology adoption.
• Perform code reviews and provide consultancy to IT teams regarding database design and performance.
• Support and deliver database-related code deployments across all platforms.

Requirements

• English: B2+ proficiency required (resume must be submitted in English)
• Significant experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration with production support.
• Strong understanding and experience with T-SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft clustering, virtualization, and AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and estate management.
• Ability to work effectively in a global cross-functional team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with other database platforms like MySQL, MariaDB, CosmosDB, or Postgres.
• Knowledge of managing Power BI solutions on-premise.
• Experience with RedGate tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL and Agile practices.
• Experience with cloud-hosted database platforms.
