Senior Manager (Payments): Leading and delivering payments-related consulting projects for financial services clients with an accent on U.S. payment regulations and compliance strategies. Location: Hybrid; must be based within reasonable commuting distance to New York City, Charlotte, Seattle, or San Francisco and attend the office 3+ days per week

What you will do
- Provide expert guidance on U.S. payment regulations including credit, debit, ACH, Prepaid, BNPL, Crypto, RTP, and FedNow.
- Assess regulatory trends and interpret PCI DSS, KYC, AML, PSD2, and SOC 2 to develop compliance strategies.
- Support clients in new product strategy, creation of product pipelines, roadmaps, and high-level strategic planning.
- Develop regulatory frameworks, compliance programs, and internal policies aligned with industry best practices.
- Manage multiple consulting engagements, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality deliverables.
- Drive business development by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in a payments-related organization (Issuer, Acquirer, FinTech).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Management; MBA preferred.
- Deep understanding of U.S. payments regulations and protocols (APIs, security standards, fraud metrics).
- Proven experience leading product implementations and developing user stories.
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future (H1-B, F-1/OPT, TN, etc.).
- Must be based in the USA near primary market offices.
Nice to have
- Experience as a Product Manager within Financial Services or a Payments organization.
- Proficiency with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or ADO.
