Engineering Manager (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Develop and implement comprehensive design integration strategies.
• Lead the Design Team in linking workstreams to subcontractor packages.
• Monitor and report on design progress, status, and interface management.
• Ensure consistent application of interface management plans across detailed design phases.
• Present integration strategies to key stakeholders, including Network Rail and system contractors.
• Drive continuous improvement of design processes and technical change workstreams.

Requirements

• Must have experience in design management for civil engineering or building projects in the UK.
• Proven experience with railway system interfaces.
• Previous experience in a line management role for technical or design managers.
• Strong understanding of NEC conditions of contract.
• Experience with common data environments and model exchanges with third-party designers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems like CEMAR or Eb.
