What you will do

• Perform CAM programming for machining operations involving metallic and composite parts.
• Conduct machining simulations to ensure alignment with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
• Support programming for composite manufacturing processes, specifically Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) and Automated Tape Laying (ATL).
• Provide shop floor and remote support for in-house digital machining solutions and assist users in tool adoption.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital tools.
• Prepare project status reports and maintain comprehensive documentation of milestones and risks.

Requirements

• Experience in CAM programming and machining simulation within an industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAM software and NC programming.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, particularly composites.
• Must be based in or able to work in Kinston, NC, USA.
• English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Previous exposure to the aerospace industry or experience working with aerospace clients.
• French language proficiency.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
