What you will do

• Set up CNC mills and observe machine operation to verify settings accuracy and detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Set up and control computerized deburring and tooling machines to run series machining operations (drilling, chamfering, deburring).
• Inspect workpieces throughout the production run to ensure machining stays within tolerance.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Operate CNC mills and lathes safely and efficiently using manual or command-based control entry.

Requirements

• Proficient English reading and writing skills; able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directives.
• Detailed operational knowledge of specific CNC mills and lathes to be operated safely and efficiently.
• Ability to calculate and set machine controls manually or by entering commands.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) and read drawings/blueprints.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
