NC Programmer

What you will do

• Develop NC programs for complex aircraft components machined on 4- and 5-axis CNC machines to engineering model tolerance requirements.
• Analyze engineering models to define part configuration and determine machining operation type and sequence.
• Select appropriate cutters and machining methods for titanium, aluminum, and magnesium.
• Choose NC program options to deliver efficient machining methods for each part operation.
• Test and modify existing NC programs for engineering changes and program improvements.

Requirements

• Machining experience and NC programming experience.
• Model-based software experience.
• Microsoft Office products experience.
• Catia V5 NC experience and/or Vericut toolpath verification software experience (desired).
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years experience, or Associate’s degree plus 4 years experience (or equivalent experience).
