What you will do

• Own commercial and technical strategy for new customer wins in AI developer tooling, targeting experiment reproducibility, model governance, and LLM observability buying triggers.
• Identify and remove adoption barriers such as missing experiment tracking, model versioning gaps, and LLM observability blind spots.
• Develop deep expertise across MLOps and LLM tooling (MLOps platforms, model registries, evaluation frameworks, and LLM tracing), using Weights & Biases Models and Weave as flagship examples.
• Translate customer needs for experiment management, dataset versioning, model promotion workflows, and LLM trace analysis into product feedback for the AI Developer Services roadmap.
• Create deal structures, technical playbooks, and capability narratives for sales and solution architecture teams, including platform seat modeling and usage-based pricing.
• Partner with product, engineering, and Weights & Biases teams to maintain competitive advantage in developer experience and observability capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in ML engineering, MLOps, or AI platform development, with a track record of driving customer outcomes and revenue.
• 5+ years working with experiment tracking, model registry, or LLM observability platforms, ideally with hands-on experience with Weights & Biases (Models and/or Weave) in a customer-facing or deal-shaping capacity.
• Deep working knowledge of the ML development lifecycle: experiment management, hyperparameter optimization, dataset versioning, model evaluation, and research-to-production operational patterns.
• Strong familiarity with LLM application development patterns (prompt engineering workflows, RAG pipelines, agent evaluation) and production observability requirements, including tools like W&B Weave and LangSmith.
• Experience working with enterprise ML platform teams on model governance, audit requirements, and scaling AI development across multiple teams.
• Ability to benchmark and commercially position developer tooling capabilities against customer MLOps maturity requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience driving new business or shaping product strategy in industries with mature ML development practices (e.g., generative AI product companies, enterprise AI teams, pharma R&D, financial services modeling).
• Background in technical sales, solution consulting, or product management supporting MLOps platform adoption or AI developer tooling decisions.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
