What you will do
- Plan, analyze, and design coastal and nearshore civil works projects, including shoreline protection and flood mitigation.
- Perform coastal, hydraulic, and hydrodynamic modeling to evaluate waves, tides, storm surge, and sediment transport.
- Prepare engineering designs, calculations, and technical reports for civil works projects.
- Support permitting and regulatory coordination with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate coastal engineering solutions into broader infrastructure programs.
- Provide engineering support during construction via reviews, field observations, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
- Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements if selected (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
