Lead Software Developer (ERP)

TL;DR

Lead Software Developer (C#/.NET): Developing and optimizing platform performance and resource efficiency for a SaaS ERP system with an accent on production telemetry, bottleneck identification, and the customization framework. Focus on building AI agents for log analysis, refining performance benchmarking methodologies, and implementing high-scale platform features.

Location: Must be based in Belgrade, Serbia (Work from home, hybrid, or onsite options available)

What you will do

• Balance work between platform feature development (70%) and product support/incident investigation (30%).
• Own end-to-end development of platform features, including technical design and implementation on the web backend.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts on specifications and QA engineers throughout the delivery process.
• Conduct peer reviews to maintain high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Investigate performance incidents using telemetry and logs to identify degradation or crashes.
• Develop AI-assisted tooling for customer customization code and automate log/memory dump analysis.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience with .NET, C#, and MS SQL Server in backend web applications.
• At least 2 years in a senior or lead engineering role.
• Experience at a product company with a sizable, mature engineering organization.
• Background in ERP, CRM, accounting, or similar business systems.
• Independent experience designing and developing platform-level functionality and custom infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with performance profilers, memory dump analysis, and telemetry analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure or AWS.
• Experience integrating AI functionality into software products or using AI tools for productivity.
• Experience designing extensibility frameworks, plugin systems, code parsers, or static analysis.
