TL;DR

Location: Remote from Belgrade, Tbilisi, or Yerevan

What you will do

  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient Java code with comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with engineers to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain and update system components and technical documentation.
  • Develop scalable data processing solutions using Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to optimize system performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java SE (21+).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, MVC, and Data.
  • Proven experience in developing high-load, low-latency, and scalable systems.
  • Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and ORM technologies (JPA, Hibernate).
  • Strong understanding of message brokers, specifically Kafka.

Nice to have

  • Experience in financial, investment, or trading domains.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Redis or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Tempo, JFR).
  • Understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with AI agentic tools.
