What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain services handling real-time financial transactions with a focus on production reliability.
• Co-own service architecture, resilience, and scalability using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Lead technical design discussions, anticipate risks, and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement by fixing CI pipelines and conducting post-mortems.
• Work within squad teams alongside Product and Design to own specific product scopes.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience with large-scale web application architecture and production constraints.
• Ability to quickly adapt to a tech stack involving Go, Ruby, Kubernetes, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in writing tests, setting up monitoring, and performing methodical root cause analysis.
• English: Fluent (C1) required.
• Location: Living in or willing to relocate to Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, or Spain.
