TL;DR
Senior/Staff Backend Engineer (Go/Ruby): Designing, developing, and maintaining high-scale web applications and banking services with an accent on architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness. Focus on producing high-quality, well-documented code following Domain-Driven Design principles and growing technical leadership.
Location: Remote. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain.

What you will do
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain new and existing applications to meet team goals and stakeholder needs.
- Produce and ship high-quality, well-documented code.
- Co-own service architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness, respecting Domain-Driven Design principles.
- Grow on technical leadership and mentorship of other engineers.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a software engineer working on user-facing products and exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
- Pragmatic and product-driven, with an interest in solving problems and delivering value to customers.
- Quality-driven, following best practices regarding code quality, testing, and code reviews.
- Good communication skills, comfortable working in a team, and able to collaborate with non-technical colleagues.
- Fluent in English.
