Project Manager - Client Engagement & Delivery

Location: Remote within the United States; authorization to work in the United States is required. No travel. Core business hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Eastern Standard Time.

Benefits-eligible W-2 exempt position; 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Lead client-facing projects through the full delivery lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, budgeting, and quality assurance.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders, direct reports, and cross-functional partners.
• Manage project teams that include employees, contractors, and teaming partners.
• Anticipate client needs, recommend changes to scope and direction, and identify opportunities to expand client support.
• Develop client-ready meeting minutes, reports, presentations, and other high-quality deliverables.
• Implement and evaluate learning products and recommendations using iterative prototyping, testing, and Kirkpatrick or Phillips evaluation models.

Requirements

• Formal education or certification in instructional design, I/O psychology, or an equivalent discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in learning strategy, instructional design, training, and/or I/O psychology.
• 3+ years of experience managing people and performance, including direct management of at least three full-time employees.
• 3+ years of professional services delivery experience, including budgeting, resource planning, contract management, and fixed-fee and time-and-materials contracts.
• Experience managing project portfolios with individual budgets of $500,000–$1 million and delivering projects on schedule.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project, video meeting platforms, presentation, facilitation, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Project or program management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Certification in a relevant discipline such as SHRM, HCI, or ATD.
• Agile or Scrum training, change management, or human-centered design experience.
• Experience building dashboards, analyzing data, making data-driven decisions, or contributing to client proposals.
• Master’s degree.
