TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Shanghai, China (hybrid, 3+ days in office)

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive research agenda on automotive technology trends including ADAS, AI, and software.
  • Lead the creation of data-driven research reports, forecasts, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering strategic insights and briefings to senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide a team of analysts across the APAC region to ensure high-quality research outputs.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to identify and pursue new business and consulting opportunities.
  • Represent the company as an industry thought leader at conferences and through professional publications.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the automotive industry focusing on ADAS/Autonomy, automotive AI, or smart cockpits.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact research and thought leadership in the automotive space.
  • Deep understanding of global and regional automotive markets, key players, and regulatory dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or technology (Master's preferred).
  • Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in an additional APAC language such as Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin.
