What you will do

• Manage multiple qualitative research projects independently from design to delivery.
• Develop research materials, including recruiting screeners and discussion guides.
• Moderate focus groups, conduct in-depth interviews, and perform ethnography.
• Analyze findings and create impactful reports and presentations with actionable client recommendations.
• Handle day-to-day client liaison to ensure research reflects business objectives.
• Supervise and mentor junior researchers to maintain quality and productivity targets.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree from a recognized university.
• 1-2 years of experience in qualitative research, ideally within Finance, FMCG, healthcare, or retail.
• Proven track record in moderating focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnography.
• Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• Must be based in Shanghai, China.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with tight timelines.
