Employment Consultant

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Prince George, BC, Canada (Onsite)

Salary: $54,300 per year

What you will do

• Conduct client needs assessments and develop individualized action plans.
• Manage assigned client case files in the primary information system (ICM).
• Provide individualized job search support, including interviews, employer contacts, and job matching.
• Monitor client progress against action plans and coordinate necessary financial supports.
• Collaborate with community organizations and employers to identify sector opportunities.
• Provide on-the-job support to clients and employers as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to work Monday to Friday onsite in Prince George, BC.
• Demonstrated experience in coaching clients and working with individuals with complex barriers.
• Knowledge of the local labour market, government programs, and career development techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online case management tools.
• Must submit for a criminal record check.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Nice to have

• Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) designation.
• Bilingual (French and English).
• Experience in the Employment Services Sector.
