What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert on cancer registry data standards, abstraction workflows, and reporting requirements.
• Provide structured walkthroughs of the registry lifecycle, including casefinding, abstraction, coding, QA, and submission.
• Advise on the interpretation of data dictionaries, staging schemas, and coding logic used across U.S. registries.
• Help technical teams understand daily registrar workflows, including interaction with EHRs and pathology feeds.
• Review data models, variable mappings, and UI/UX prototypes for consistency with registry standards.
• Participate in periodic remote review meetings to guide product development.

Requirements

• Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) credential in good standing required.
• 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in cancer registry operations.
• Experience in both facility-based and central registry settings.
• Deep familiarity with AJCC, TNM, ICD-O, SSDI, and NAACCR-style data items.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex processes for interdisciplinary teams.
• Must be based in the United States.
