QA Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

QA Engineer (Fintech): Ensuring the quality of financial products and services through a mix of manual and automated testing with an accent on API testing and business logic verification. Location: On-site in Gdansk, Poland. Candidates from Ukraine are welcome, but relocation to Poland is required after probation.

What you will do

• Develop and execute test plans for financial products and systems to ensure high quality.
• Perform API testing using Postman and automate tests using JS frameworks.
• Conduct functional testing of complex, multi-level business logic.
• Manage the QA process and ensure all security requirements are met.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation related to software testing processes.
• Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of testing tools and processes.

Requirements

• Established experience in software testing, preferably within financial projects.
• Proven ability to apply testing techniques and experience in API automation.
• Experience testing complex business logic.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with normalized and denormalized databases.
• Proficiency with Postman and JMeter.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Poland.

Nice to have

• Higher technical education.
• Experience in writing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Familiarity with the financial industry and regulatory requirements.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JS, Java, or C++.
