What you will do

• Design and develop domain-centric APIs and microservices using REST/JSON.
• Implement asynchronous design patterns for scalable system integrations.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Document APIs using Swagger and maintain technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and conduct defect analysis.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage system interfaces and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional programming experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and NestJS framework.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and AWS components (S3, SQS).
• Deep understanding of API development, REST, JSON, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of IT project delivery, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Must be based in or able to work from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Experience with SOAP and object-oriented modeling.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Experience with JIRA and SonarQube.
