What you will do

• Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of core backend systems for hirify.global Gold.
• Deliver high-quality, performant, and scalable services following engineering best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical design documents to ensure team alignment.
• Tackle complex technical challenges regarding system performance, reliability, and modernization.
• Write comprehensive unit and automation tests to ensure high code quality.
• Perform code reviews and conduct root-cause analysis for critical production issues.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, Physics, or related technical fields.
• 3+ years of backend development experience, preferably in E-Commerce or FinTech.
• Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
• Ability to implement unit and automated functional tests using JUnit, Mockito, or Selenium.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and fundamental CS principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with public cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.
• Familiarity with microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.
