What you will do

• Lead end-to-end IT application development and smooth production operations for the Zurich Edge Platform.
• Define and execute the SaaS agenda, focusing on reuse and optimized delivery.
• Drive strategic technical design, development standards, and adoption of engineering best practices.
• Lead frequent multi-country deployments using robust DevOps and Agile practices.
• Ensure information security, production monitoring, observability, and alerting are implemented throughout design and build.
• Lead and influence development teams and senior stakeholders across business and technology areas.

Requirements

• Experience leading a team of developers and engaging senior stakeholders.
• In-depth technical understanding of RESTful APIs, Spring Boot with Java, JavaScript, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker containers.
• Ability to document and communicate technical designs to developers.
• Ability to review code, technical frameworks, libraries, tools, and products, including proof-of-concept development.
• Experience with DevOps and Agile delivery.
• Technology qualifications and relevant certifications.
