Location: UK; hybrid working with office attendance on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and remote working on Tuesday and Friday

is a fast-growing European fintech company building a payment product used by more than 6 million customers.
What you will do
- Lead two agile engineering teams delivering high-impact customer features.
- Design technical aspects and architecture for user stories and production delivery plans.
- Prioritise technical debt alongside product deliverables.
- Own delivery cadence and quality while identifying and removing team obstacles.
- Support the Head of Engineering and CTO and collaborate with senior business stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers, promote agile and lean practices, and organise knowledge transfer, training, and documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience leading and managing software engineering teams.
- Experience coaching teams in agile practices and working with Scrum, Kanban, or similar delivery methods.
- Previous software development experience with Java, React, C#, or similar technologies.
- At least 2 years of experience communicating with key stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree.
- Strong interest in continuous improvement, technical leadership, and hands-on engineering guidance.
Nice to have
- Solutions architecture experience.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud environments.
- Experience managing DevOps, Platform, or SRE teams.
