TL;DR

Delivery Lead (Fintech): Enabling teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for a leading digital insurer with an accent on strategy-to-execution translation, dependency management, and delivery health. Focus on optimizing delivery flow, implementing OKRs, and leveraging AI to improve delivery efficiency across squads and crews.

Location: Hybrid: 3 days in office and 2 days working from home per week. Must be based in Australia.

What you will do

  • Own delivery health across a defined business area using clear delivery metrics.
  • Translate strategy into actionable plans, balancing priorities, capacity, and dependencies.
  • Manage delivery flow by minimizing work-in-progress and resolving bottlenecks across squads and crews.
  • Drive OKR tracking and value realization, challenging high-effort/low-impact work.
  • Collaborate with Crew Leads and Product Owners to improve alignment and ways of working.
  • Provide data-driven insights to surface risks early and support leadership decision-making.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading delivery in technology and/or digital environments.
  • Proven track record of enabling outcomes through cross-functional, agile teams.
  • Experience with product/agile delivery as well as traditional project/program approaches.
  • Ability to manage complex dependencies and risks in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence, including the responsible use of AI to improve efficiency.
  • Experience coaching teams and leaders to lift delivery maturity and embed continuous improvement.
