TL;DR
Embedded Software Tester (IoT): Designing and executing test strategies for embedded software systems with an accent on quality assurance for SIM/eSIM and connectivity solutions. Focus on developing automated test frameworks, performing HIL testing, and ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Sant Joan Despí, Spain (Hybrid role with 1 day remote per week)

What you will do
- Contribute to R&D test strategy definition and execution.
- Design and implement comprehensive test cases for embedded systems.
- Develop automated test frameworks and scripts for unit and system-level testing.
- Perform manual and automated testing on microcontrollers and SoCs.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards like ISO 26262 or IEC 62304.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software testing.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, RTOS, and microcontroller architectures.
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, version control, and test automation frameworks.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Experience in safety-critical domains like automotive or medical.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART).
- Familiarity with smartcard standards (ETSI, GSMA, Javacard).
- ISTQB certification.
