What you will do

• Design and build pages and components for a headless Shopify webshop using Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Move fluidly between Figma and code, handling everything from concepting and prototyping to shipping.
• Create animations and micro-interactions that bring the brand story to life on the web.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, product launches, and conversion experiments.
• Utilize AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate the development workflow.
• Maintain code quality and design consistency while iterating fast based on data and feedback.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating both design thinking and frontend craftsmanship.
• Proven experience building with Next.js and modern React.
• Comfort working with Shopify’s headless commerce architecture and Storefront API.
• Strong sense of typography, layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience implementing web animations using Framer Motion, GSAP, or CSS.
• Legal right to work in the Netherlands without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebGL, Three.js, or Spline for 3D web experiences.
• Background working at a startup, agency, or in e-commerce.
• Familiarity with Figma’s developer mode and design-to-code workflows.
• Interest in creative coding, generative design, or interactive storytelling.
