Location: Hamburg, Germany

Compensation: EUR 60,000 - 70,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain performant frontend features for the Web Shop across Desktop, Mobile Web, and Tablet using React and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA to translate requirements into user-friendly features.
  • Architect sustainable frontend solutions and solve complex technical problems.
  • Take full ownership of large-scale projects from conception to deployment.
  • Promote a culture of high-quality code through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
  • Optimize frontend architecture and Core Web Vitals to improve system performance.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in Frontend Development.
  • Expert proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and the React ecosystem (hooks, context).
  • Strong skills in HTML and modern CSS, including responsive design and CSS-in-JS.
  • Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query) and REST API integration.
  • Solid understanding of frontend testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Proficiency with Git, build tools (Webpack, Vite), and CI/CD workflows.

Nice to have

  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR).
  • Experience working within large-scale e-commerce environments.
  • Knowledge of Node.js.
  • Experience building or maintaining design systems or component libraries.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing tools like Cypress.
