What you will do

• Prepare payroll items in accordance with local GAAP and coordinate with outsourced providers.
• Manage external accounting relationships, including auditors, tax advisors, and bank administration.
• Monitor local payroll law changes and implement necessary updates in accounting systems and processes.
• Execute bookkeeping and month/year-end closing tasks.
• Provide financial analysis for reporting, pension, and planning cycles.
• Develop internal controls, policies, and KPIs to improve the overall Payroll function.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of overall professional experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Payroll Accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economy.
• Proven experience with financial closing (Financial Statements, Month and Year end).
• Proficiency in Payroll Software systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent Business English proficiency (C1) required.
• Must be based in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with payroll regulations in Germany and France.
• Proficiency in German, French, Italian, or Dutch.
