Safety Coordinator / Lab Lead (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and execute routine safety audits across physical testing environments and robot cells to ensure industrial compliance.
• Own the end-to-end incident management pipeline, including documentation and analysis of mechanical anomalies or near-misses.
• Lead structured root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Manage daily lab operations, including layout and organization using 5S methodologies.
• Oversee inventory, calibration, and maintenance of specialized robotics hardware, compute nodes, and PPE.
• Develop and deliver mandatory safety onboarding modules for engineers, researchers, and partners.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in lab management or safety coordination within robotics, aerospace, automotive, or autonomous vehicle R&D.
• Proven experience building structured audit workflows and incident documentation pipelines.
• Familiarity with OSHA or ISO robotics safety standards.
• Technical comfort with complex physical hardware, multi-modal sensors, and compute rigs.
• Strong written and assertive communication skills for enforcing safety protocols.
