Finance Business Partner

TL;DR

Finance Business Partner (Finance): Supporting financial planning, reporting, and business decision-making within a secure business environment with an accent on managing forecasts and actuals. Location: Must be based in the UK and able to work onsite at least 3 days a week in Birmingham, London, or Manchester.

What you will do

• Manage monthly reporting, forecasting, and actuals to support accurate financial control.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
• Translate complex financial information into clear, accessible updates for non-financial audiences.
• Support contract accounting and month-end close processes.
• Manage financial inputs including purchase orders, reconciliations, billing, and revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with wider teams on tax and trading compliance matters.

Requirements

• Accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Must be eligible for or preferably currently possess DV clearance.
• Experience in contract accounting and/or working within a finance month-end close cycle.
• Experience working with finance systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
