Development Engineer (Virtual Modelling)

What you will do

• Develop simulation models and perform technical calculations using commercial Finite Element (FEA) and CAD tools.
• Apply advanced modelling techniques including explicit dynamic analysis, shell geometries, and nonlinear material modelling.
• Define test specifications and analyze experimental results to validate virtual simulations of physical phenomena.
• Contribute to the knowledge base of computational mechanics with an emphasis on packaging material modelling.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a similar field.
• Previous experience in finite element modelling and simulation of mechanical systems (academic experience is welcome).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Fortran and Python to develop user subroutines.
• Fluent in both Italian and English, written and spoken.
• Based in or able to work from Modena, Italy.
