Analytics Engineer (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Participate in vendor scoping sessions to finalize full table and field requirements.
• Model dedicated data marts in the dbt transformations layer, sourcing from core order, line item, and customer tables.
• Translate vendor B2C schema specifications into internal field mappings, accounting for DTC-adjusted logic.
• Configure Snowflake data sharing and connections to facilitate seamless vendor ingestion.
• Write comprehensive dbt tests and documentation to ensure long-term data quality and transparency.
• Manage the full merge request workflow using GitLab, adhering to peer review processes.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL with experience analyzing source tables across orders, customers, and attribution models.
• Expert-level experience with dbt Core and dbt Cloud, including MetricFlow-compatible YAML configurations.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, specifically regarding schema design, query testing, and data sharing setup.
• Proven background in Analytics Engineering, focusing on translating external vendor schemas to internal DTC data models.
• Experience with GitLab for branch management and merge request workflows.
• Must be based in Latin America.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with marketing mix modeling (MMM) or incrementality vendor integrations.
• Familiarity with Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
