What you will do

• Work on foundation models for embodied AI, including large-scale pretraining and post-training.
• Train models on large-scale multimodal data (vision, language) within multi-node distributed systems.
• Curate large multimodal datasets for training and evaluation.
• Lead high-impact research and publish findings at top-tier conferences such as CVPR, NeurIPS, and ICRA.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in at least one backend/systems programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java).
• Experience with vision-language models, LLMs, NLP, and reasoning.
• Experience in curating training data to steer model behavior.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX for deep learning.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-node distributed training of large models.
• Previous publications in top-tier AI conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS).
