What you will do

• Conduct and enable cutting-edge research to translate findings into the core product pipeline.
• Develop and improve state-of-the-art data curation strategies.
• Collaborate with technical staff to accelerate research cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience (PhD in CS or ML preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in an industry research lab or equivalent academic experience.
• Strong background in ML systems, including distributed training of large models and performance optimization.
• Deep understanding of foundation models, including their construction and training.
• Experience contributing to the research community via open-source or publications (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICCV, ECCV, BMVC).
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Redwood City, CA.
