Salary: $100,000 - $125,000

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the program's Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
• Manage configuration items (CIs), baselines, and software inventories throughout the SDLC.
• Oversee software tracking, version control, and release management activities across multiple teams.
• Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and review proposed changes for impact, risk, and compliance.
• Coordinate release schedules and deployment readiness with engineering, DevSecOps, and QA teams.
• Ensure strict traceability between requirements, development artifacts, and production releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Configuration Management, Release Management, or Software Asset Management.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience facilitating formal change management processes or Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust.
• Must reside and work within the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) programs or large-scale enterprise modernization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and lifecycle tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).
• Experience working within DevSecOps and CI/CD environments.
• Certifications such as CCDMP, ITIL, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or PMP.
