What you will do

• Manage software and plugin deployments across Windows and Linux systems using Ansible.
• Build and maintain software deployment packages and develop scripts to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Support post-production edit bays, artist workstations, and media transport technologies.
• Lead onsite rollout of upgrades and serve as the primary technical decision-maker during production system changes.
• Develop and maintain system health monitoring dashboards, operational reporting, and alerting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate IT, engineering, and security teams to deliver reliable technology solutions.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Burbank, CA
• 5+ years of systems administration or infrastructure engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting IT infrastructure in a film, television, or episodic post-production environment.
• Extensive experience creating and managing software packages using Ansible.
• Proficiency in supporting both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Nice to have

• Experience with remote workstation workflows (e.g., Leostream, HP Anyware/TGX, NICE DCV).
• Familiarity with TPN, PCI, or related data security standards.
• Experience with industry tools like Nuke, DaVinci Resolve, Unreal Engine, or Qumulo.
