What you will do

• Lead the design and development of signal processing for real-time edge inference on consumer products.
• Own the full development lifecycle, including prototyping, validation, and productionization.
• Evaluate commercial solutions to inform build vs. buy decisions for the Sensor Intelligence Group.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver algorithms to members.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-performance research-to-production culture.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field (M.S. or PhD preferred).
• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying real-time sensor signal processing algorithms.
• Demonstrated experience deploying algorithms to embedded platforms such as fixed-point DSPs or MCUs.
• Strong foundation in filtering, spectral analysis, and time-frequency methods.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for deployment and Python or MATLAB for algorithm prototyping.
• Must be based in or be prepared to relocate to Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience developing hybrid DSP/ML systems for signal pre-processing or feature extraction.
• Knowledge of RTOS, firmware development, or sensor physics and fusion techniques.
• Experience with microcontroller libraries for efficient signal processing (e.g., CMSIS-DSP or CMSIS-NN).
