Salary: $266,000 – $445,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design, implement, and debug host-side systems software, including Linux kernel drivers and userspace components.
• Build and optimize software paths for high-throughput, low-latency communication using RDMA and networking functionality.
• Develop software interfaces for PCIe, DMA, NICs, accelerators, and memory movement.
• Perform bring-up of new hardware platforms and diagnose complex issues across kernel, firmware, and hardware boundaries.
• Build tooling for integration, testing, diagnostics, observability, and performance characterization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to define interfaces and integrate new capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience building low-level or performance-critical systems software.
• Strong programming skills in C or C++, with proficiency in Python for automation and debugging.
• Strong Linux systems fundamentals and the ability to debug across hardware and software boundaries.
• Hands-on experience in at least one area: Linux kernel drivers, RDMA, PCIe, DMA, NIC software, or accelerator software.
• Experience owning complex software projects from design through implementation and validation.
• Must meet legal status requirements as provided by U.S. export control laws.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with RoCE, ibverbs, kernel networking, or congestion-control concepts (ECN, DCQCN).
• Experience with SR-IOV, IOMMU, dma-buf, or peer-to-peer communication.
• Experience bringing up accelerators, NICs, SoCs, or custom hardware platforms.
• Experience profiling and optimizing high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with Rust for systems programming.
