What you will do

• Lead technical planning and system architecture for AI-enabled products and 0-to-1 builds.
• Develop high-quality code and rapid proof-of-concepts to validate architectural choices and solve complex challenges.
• Mentor backend engineers, proactively resolve technical blockers, and reduce systemic technical debt.
• Collaborate with Product and Design leadership to translate ambiguous business goals into technical roadmaps.
• Integrate cutting-edge AI workflows, such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, into daily development practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience with a strong focus on web.
• Proven track record in senior-to-staff roles owning system design for high-scale or high-growth products.
• Strong backend proficiency in Kotlin; TypeScript experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of AWS and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI models and LLMs into customer-facing products.
• Experience working in early-stage startups or high-innovation environments.
