Associate Business Analyst (Power Apps)

What you will do

• Support understanding of customer processes and business needs through stakeholder and technical team discussions.
• Diagram current-state processes and proposed improvements using process flows and data-flow diagrams.
• Document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for both Agile and Waterfall SDLC activities.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine the backlog and map user stories to technical design documents.
• Execute functional and regression tests and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
• Implement internal improvements to BA team workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with VDOT is required.
• Must be local to Richmond, VA.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in business analysis, project support, or data analysis.
• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
