TL;DR

Senior Manager, Nutrition & Scientific Affairs (Nutrition): Translating evidence-based nutrition science into brand strategies to drive business growth in the U.S. market with an accent on scientific claim substantiation and external advocacy. Focus on aligning nutrition standards with brand innovation, managing KOL relationships, and ensuring regulatory compliance with FDA/FTC guidelines.

Location: Hybrid (US). Must regularly report to assigned office location at least 3 days per week

What you will do

  • Develop and deploy nutrition science strategies and standards to support brand credibility and growth.
  • Translate complex scientific evidence into consumer-relevant messaging for brand innovation and product positioning.
  • Develop claims substantiation dossiers aligned with U.S. regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage strategic advocacy plans and engage with healthcare practitioners (HCPs), KOLs, and professional organizations.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment between Brand Marketing, R&I, Regulatory, and Legal teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Monitor competitive claims landscapes to identify risks and opportunities for differentiation.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian with 6+ years of experience in nutrition science or scientific affairs within food or healthcare.
  • Advanced degree in Nutrition, Nutritional Sciences, Dietetics, or Public Health.
  • Familiarity with U.S. regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, FTC) and the nutrition policy landscape.
  • Experience in scientific claims substantiation and clinical research interpretation.
  • Proven leadership in matrixed organizations and HCP engagement.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 30%.
