What you will do

• Partner with P&E leadership to manage the department P&L and inform resource allocation across product development and infrastructure.
• Develop financial models and business cases to evaluate technical investments where ROI metrics may be ambiguous.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly expenses to identify trends and diagnose root causes of budget variances in cloud infrastructure.
• Lead annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Utilize AI tools to automate variance analysis and accelerate scenario modeling for financial recommendations.
• Provide financial guidance on build-vs-buy decisions and vendor negotiations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or finance business partnering.
• Experience supporting Product & Engineering or similar technical functions within a SaaS or DevOps environment.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, Adaptive Insights), BI platforms (Tableau, PowerBI), and cloud cost tools (AWS Cost Explorer).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for complex scenario analysis and financial modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• MBA, CPA, or CFA certification.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for financial automation.
• Experience scaling finance operations during rapid growth or in a startup environment.
• Background as a former technical professional transitioned into finance.
