What you will do

• Lead root cause investigations for customer complaints, supplier issues, and production defects using methodologies like 8D and Fishbone.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate quality issues and improve process capability.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for assigned value streams, communicating directly with customers and suppliers.
• Analyze quality performance metrics such as PPM, scrap, and rework to identify trends and prioritize improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and enhance operational performance.
• Conduct process and product audits to ensure compliance with established quality management standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
• 3-5 years of related experience in quality engineering or a similar technical role.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong capability in complex problem-solving and managing technical personnel.
• Must be able to travel by all forms of transportation as required.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure with changing deadlines.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information for executive summaries.
