What you will do

• Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, MIL-I-45208, AS9100, or CMMC 2.0.
• Lead customer and supplier audits and drive root cause corrective action activities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to implement quality improvement plans.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure quality objectives such as defect rates and on-time delivery.
• Prepare and approve Certificates of Conformance (C.O.C.s) for outgoing shipments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing-related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control, preferably in defense or aerospace.
• Working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, MIL-I-45208, or AS9100.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance auditing.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and familiar with government contract requirements.

Nice to have

• Lead auditor qualification.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Knowledge of Export/Import/ITAR/ECCN/EAR regulations.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Navy shipbuilding industry.
