Salary: $165,600 - $184,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead the strategy for hirify.global’s principal giving program, focusing on gifts of $1M+.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects capable of seven- to nine-figure commitments.
• Manage a personal portfolio of 40-50 principal gift prospects and donors.
• Partner with the CEO and SVP for Development to personally solicit and close transformational gifts.
• Develop high-touch stewardship and long-term engagement strategies for principal donors.
• Manage one direct report to support scheduling, reporting, and documentation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States.
• 10–12 years of fundraising experience, including significant success securing major and principal gifts.
• Demonstrated track record of closing gifts of $1M+, with $5M+ strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and philanthropic leaders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience fundraising for journalism, cultural institutions, or higher education.
• Familiarity with complex institutions operating across multiple locations or constituencies.
• Demonstrated success in building or expanding a principal gifts pipeline.
