What you will do

• Drive alignment across business units, tech teams, and external vendors to ensure technical delivery supports broader business goals.
• Represent the Salesforce platform on the Enterprise Architecture Board and define the overall operating model for platform requests and reviews.
• Lead the design for global identity, zero-trust security (SSO, MFA), and data compliance with standards like HIPAA, PCI, SOX, and GDPR.
• Standardize integration patterns using MuleSoft, Oracle ERP, and event-driven messaging to ensure seamless system communication.
• Oversee the safety guardrails for Generative AI usage on the platform and implement system monitoring via Chronicle SIEM.
• Mentor architects and developers on secure coding, automation, and Flow design while modernizing CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in information technology.
• Minimum 5 years of Salesforce experience across large, multi-cloud enterprise environments.
• Proven track record of matrixed leadership and influencing independent teams to agree on technical decisions.
• Experience with governance and presenting to Enterprise Architecture Boards using Architectural Decision Records (ADRs).
• Deep understanding of API gateways, middleware, data encryption, and compliance laws.
• Must be based in the US; no immigration sponsorship provided (H-1B, STEM OPT, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience consolidating multiple Salesforce orgs and reducing technical debt.
• Deep expertise in Core Sales/Service Clouds, Experience Cloud, CPQ, and back-office ERP systems.
• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certifications.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related business field.
